ABOUT PIC'S & WIC'S
Hello! My name is Julie and I am the proud owner of Pic's & Wic's. Pic's & Wic's is a small, family owned artisan soy candle and air freshener company located in Ludington, Michigan. I started making soy candles in May 2015 , after getting laid off from my job. My goal in starting Pic's & Wic's, besides making a living, was to make quality, highly scented soy candles, but keep my prices reasonable. Ultimately, I wanted to make a soy candle that I would personally buy and enjoy burning. Sadly, since 2019, the price of soy wax has doubled and the availability of jars has been difficult, so I had to stop temporally making candles but they will be making a come back very soon.
In 2016, I started making the Michigan Mitten air fresheners and they were a hit! In 2022 big changes happened. We moved the business out of our basement and into a 3500 square foot building and my step daughter moved back to Michigan to work with me full time. I still make the candles, melts and scent the beads that are used for the air fresheners. My step daughter is now my full time baker and bakes all the air fresheners and my husband drills the holes and helps with the package. Thanks to all our wonderful customers, we have now made and sold over 250,000 air fresheners!
